Open and inclusive groups, simply sign up and show up at rehearsal! We are a fun group that plays tango music in Minneapolis, no experience required and all levels welcome.
Community Tango Ensemble
Our central and flagship tango orchestra open to all levels and instruments, beginners welcome. Community Tango Ensemble holds no auditions and plays fully-notated scores. Learn the basics of Argentine tango music and enjoy a large ensemble experience.
Northwoods Ensemble
Audition-based smaller ensemble for local musicians interested in deeper and faster study of the style and substance of tango music.
Kingfield Ensemble
An invitation-based group of professional musicians studying the style and character of iconic tango orchestras and modern composers.
