Featuring:
Community Tango Ensemble plays the music of Carlos Di Sarli, Osvaldo Fresedo, and an arrangement of Felicia by Pablo Jaurena.
Northwoods Tango Ensemble plays a set of milongas by Francisco Canaro and a set of tangos in the style of Ricardo Malerba.
Plus various new small ensembles, DJ recorded tandas between ensembles, and announcements of our upcoming festival.
Community Tango Ensemble
Our central and flagship tango orchestra open to all levels and instruments, beginners welcome. Community Tango Ensemble holds no auditions and plays fully-notated scores. Learn the basics of Argentine tango music and enjoy a large ensemble experience.
Northwoods Ensemble
Audition-based smaller ensemble for local musicians interested in deeper and faster study of the style and substance of tango music.
Kingfield Ensemble
An invitation-based group of professional musicians studying the style and character of iconic tango orchestras and modern composers.
